The Japji Sahib

"The Japji Sahib is considered by Sikhs a key to their sacred volume and an epitome of its doctrine. It is the immortal prayer chant of the Sikhs. It is recited by Sikhs early in the morning and forms part of the morning prayer. It is the duty of all Sikhs, even if they cannot read, to have themselves taught this great morning divine prayer".

Embracing the Glory - Nelson Mandela

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light , not our darkness , that most frightens us. We ask ourselves,"Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us.....And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others"

Dale Carnegie

Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success.
Dale Carnegie

Do the hard jobs first. The easy jobs will take care of themselves.
Dale Carnegie

Keep on raging - to stop the aging.
Dale Carnegie

Men of age object too much, consult too long, adventure too little, repent too soon, and seldom drive business home to the full period, but content themselves with a mediocrity of success.

The Pareto Principle (a.k.a. The 80:20 Rule)

The Pareto Principle (a.k.a. The 80:20 Rule)

Summary: For those running a small business or home office, one finds that they have more things pulling at them then ever before. Consistent application of this rule will lead to dramatically improved productivity. While the rule is not an absolute, one should use it as a guide and reference point to ask whether or not they are truly focusing on the 20% (the Vital Few), or the 80% (The trivial many). True progress results from a consistent focus on the 20% most critical objectives.

In the late 1800s, economist and avid gardener Vilfredo Pareto established that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population. While gardening he later observed that 20% of the peapods in his garden yielded 80% of the peas that were harvested. And thus was born a theory that has stood the test of time and scrutiny. The Pareto Principle or the 80:20 Rule has proven its validity in a number of other areas.

In the business work, it has been found that the principle could be applied to many areas, such as:

Applied to Meetings:

80% of decisions come from 20% of meeting time.

Applied to Managerial Headaches:

Roughly 80% of your managerial problems and headaches are caused by just 20% of your problems.

Applied to time management and your daily To-Do List:

80% of your measurable results and progress will come from just 20% of the items on your daily To-Do list. The major problem is that most people are so busy fighting fires that they never get around to the most vital few activities that will lead to the greatest results.

Applied to Interruptions;

80% of a Manager's interruptions come from the same 20% of people

Applied to product defects:

Roughly 20% of the input errors typically cause the lion's share of defects.

Applied to Salespeople:

Roughly 20% of a sales force will develop 80% of the annual results.

Applied to Customer Complaints:

Roughly 80% of customer complaints are about the same 20% of your projects, products or services.

Applied to Business Units:

Roughly 20% of a company's business units will produce 80% of the annual revenue.

Applied to Advertising:

Roughly 20% of your advertising will produce 80% of your campaign's results. If businesses could only determine which 20% of their advertising was really working, U.S. businesses could save literally billions in advertising costs each year.

Other such situations follow; there are many in real life.

20% of the time expended produces 80% of the results

80% of your phone calls go to 20% of the names on your list

20% of the streets handle 80% of the traffic

80% of the meals in a restaurant come from 20% of the menu

20% of the paper has 80% of the news

80% of the news is in the first 20% of the article

20% of a home collects 20 percent of the dust

20% of the people cause 80% of the problems

20% of the features of an application are used 80% of the time

These Pareto-type observations are not necessarily bad, or good. For example, if only 20% of the roads in a town handle 80% of the traffic, then that could be good for a maintenance crew who can concentrate mainly on the fewer roads; but it could be bad for commuters who take the busy roads. Such Pareto observations could lead to strategies; road crews could try to move commuters off of the busy roads, or commuters could move off on their own.

The important thing is to notice any such disproportions, and then possibly act on such observations.

Me.

AQUARIUS MAN

Hot-hearted man who likes to do things his way. He can suddenly
decide to do something without thinking of it's outcome. He is
the type of guy with an inside energizer, so if you fall in love
with this type of guy be “patient", even if you have to follow
him a bit. His creative mind could create fantastic idea any time. If you do not understand or can not follow him, you won't be with him for long.

A man in this Zodiac will less likely to have a pale skin, and
if he has a scar, it would be on his face or on his head. He
moves very fast and very energetic, and he has a very self
confident in himself. He is not the type to sit down and feel
sorry or regret anything for long, especially with "Love". He
loves justice. He dares to show his opinion or even argue about
certain subject even he knows it might bring him problems. A
straight forward type of guy.

He hardly lies except if he thinks it is necessary and he is not
a good liar anyway. He will not lie to you about serious matter,
but if he lie he will lie only a small little thing. He is gifted
with the ability to be a very social person. He could talk even
about subject that he has no knowledge of.

He interests only at the present time and look at the world
positively.

Many times he feels hurt because of reality, but he will not
run away and he will overcome that difficulty.

Even he is a high and self confident type and center his own
thought as a main focus, but at the same time he is a kind,
cute and polite guy.

He certainly is not a mean person. He likes to help people who
are in troubles even he is not asked to. He is the type who feels
sorry if you remember bad things he said to you that he had
already forgotten,but you did not.

Belief him that he is very sorry and give him another chance.

Once he decides to do something, he will put all his mind and
energy in it either in his "Work", or "Love". He is the type who
gamble anything in the casino, so do not even take him there.
He does not like pessimistic, low energy, and depress person,
especially no brain. Strangely he like to overpowered this type
of people to assure that he is more superior.

He like to be the first person to do something. You can see
sparkling in his eyes, once he meet a new target or new lover.
Once he is in love, he will act as if he never has love like this
before. This minute he could be real sugar sweet, and later he
could also be an icy cold, but do not blame him for that will
only chase him away. He could fall in love again with another
girl and act again like he never has this kind of love before.
He could really love someone, but not a heart broken type for he
thinks love is "excitement" and "Love goes on".

If you date this kind of guy, do not or avoid showing your face to him
With face pack, face mask, always be presentable, nice and cute.
If he is quiet not because he is shy, but he is only quietly
thinking. If you have a chance to ask his X-girlfriend, she will
tell you that he is not a shy or quiet type. If he is really and
truly in love with you, he will never lie to you at all. How do
you know if he loves you, bet on your faith! Love him and treat
him steadily and do not try to find anything to argue with him,
he will be with you for sure.

If you are his lover or girlfriend and need to tell him something,
go and say it out loud and straight forward because he hate long
boring story. He hate to play games, chasing for love or being
chased, so let him call you first. He likes a confident woman who
also a good follower. If he gets mad at you, let him be for only
a short time he will be normal again. You have to like and be
able to get along with his friends, but he does not have to do
so with all your friends.

Don't ever think you could make him jealous by flirting with
other man, he will just leave instead of making a scene because
he is a confident man and has to be the first in everything.

Jim Rohn Quotes

Helping:
A good objective of leadership is to help those who are doing poorly to do well and to help those who are doing well to do even better.

Beginning:
Asking is the beginning of receiving. Make sure you don't go to the ocean with a teaspoon. At least take a bucket so the kids won't laugh at you.

Life:
Be like a sponge when it comes to each new experience. If you want to be able to express it well, you must first be able to absorb it well.

Self Discipline:
Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.

Success:
Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure.

Overcoming Failure::

Failure is not a single, cataclysmic event. You don't fail overnight. Instead, failure is a few errors in judgment, repeated every day.

Effort:

For every disciplined effort there is a multiple reward.

Knowledge:
Formal education will make you a living; self education will make you a fortune.

Wealth:Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.

Ambition: Goals. There's not telling what you can do when you get inspired by them. There's no telling what you can do when you believe in them. There's no telling what will happen when you act upon them.

What you give attention to, your subconscious mind absorbs and multiplies in your experience.

As long as you continue to complain and harp on your financial troubles, you will magnify them and impoverish yourself. As long as you see yourself as a victim, your subconscious mind will arrange for you to be victimized. As long as you blame outside factors for your problems, you will be prey to those factors.

When you begin to understand that you are master of the situations, you will become master of it. Those are the real laws of the mind.

WANT TO SUCCEED ?

Get serious - about everything.

Get Smart - needs patient, learn everything you can from every source

Get Going - take action

Get Better - no matter how long you live, you can get better everyday

Get Away - Balance your life. Don't miss anything.

Wally Amos

IF LIFE HANDS YOU A LEMON, DON’T COMPLAIN, BUT INSTEAD MAKE LEMONADE TO SELL TO THOSE WHO ARE THIRSTY FROM COMPLAINING.

Wally Amos, the man whom many consider to be the father of the gourmet cookie industry, has turned lemons into lemonade so often in his life that in his official portrait he holds a pitcher in one hand and a glass of lemonade in the other. A perennial optimist, Amos refuses to acknowledge that obstacles are anything other than stepping-stones to success. In a career that has spanned several decades, he has made it to the pinnacle of success several times, only to lose everything and be forced to start over. But he’s never lost faith. "You have to have the trust and faith to let go and not agonize," he says. "Don’t waste your time worrying. Worry is not preparation. Analyze the situation and focus on solutions. There is always an answer."
